This month I want to share with you information received from our Zone 33-34 Rotary Membership Officer (RMO) Audley Knight about a new online resource in Rotary’s Learning Center.

LEARN HOW TO ENSURE NEW CLUBS ARE SUCCESSFUL

As you work to create new clubs the new “Staring a Club” course in the learning center can help you learn how to ensure new clubs are successful. In this course, you’ll learn the process of starting a Rotary, Rotaract, or Satellite club, get tips for connecting with prospective members, and find out how you can maximize a new club’s success. It is a great resource for new club champions, sponsor clubs, and a new club advisor or anyone interested in new club development.

Course Description:

Learn about the process of starting a Rotary, Rotaract, or satellite club; get tips for talking to prospective members; and find out how you can maximize your new club’s success. This course is for both Rotary and Rotaract members and those who want to become members.

The course is made up of three lessons:

  • Starting a club
  • Starting a New Club Guide
  • Course Evaluation

The course can be taken as your schedule allows and takes you through the full process for starring a new club.

Our focus for MEMBERSHIP for 2020-2021 will continue to be:

ENGAGEMENT                 RETENTION             ATTRACTION

We will continue our efforts to focus on four Membership Areas:

  • Increase membership by 5% (+125)
  • Strengthen Clubs
  • Increase Membership Retention
  • Establish New Clubs in each Area

For more information on the NEW Club Models or NEW Membership Types or schedule a D7690 Membership TEAM Presentation, please contact Charles Allen at charlesallen@rotary7690.org.

Thanks for all you do for Rotary!
