ROTARY MONITORS THE
COVID-19 CRISIS

Rotary is closely monitoring the pandemic of COVID-19, the illness caused by the novel corona-virus, and continuously assessing the potential impact on Rotary operations, events, and members.

Your health and safety are always our top priorities.

In the near term, Rotary International recommends that districts and Rotary and Rotaract clubs meet virtually, cancel, or postpone meetings and events following the advice of national and local health officials.

Rotary encourages members and their families to take precautions to protect themselves from contracting the virus by: washing your hands often and thoroughly, putting distance between yourself and others if COVID-19 is spreading in your community, and staying home if you are sick.

My name is Joann! I’m currently working on a health and safety powerpoint for my school’s STEM club. I’ve been exploring your Rotary District website and just wanted to say I really appreciate your Coronavirus resources and that I’ve been getting a lot of use out of them…thanks a bunch!

I also wanted to reach out and suggest an additional resource that I discovered. https://nanha.org/2020/09/17/covid-19-resources-for-the-elderly-and-families/

It’s an informational guide on the Coronavirus for all audiences. Do you mind adding it? . . .

Thanks for taking the time to read my email and I look forward to hearing back!

Sincerely, Joann
(Joann – Thank you!)

The impact of the new coronavirus disease, COVID-19, is being felt around the world. We believe we are better when we work together. It’s important for us all to take the necessary steps to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and our local and global communities safe and supported.

as of Aug. 28, 2020

Andrea Cudd Alemanni, Partnership Chair, E-Club of Global Trekkers, has published a book dedicating a portion of the proceeds to ENDPOLIO NOW.

Ava Antibody Explains Your Body and Vaccines, takes children and parents on an inside tour of their immune system, explaining how it can fight off viruses when you are vaccinated.  She is even able to touch on the concept of “herd immunity.”

Because this topic is of utmost importance and touches on Rotary Areas of Focus, Andrea has pledged to waive the $2.80 shipping charge and give $1 to ENDPOLIO NOW for every book sold.  Please join her in this effort to meet District 7690 Polio Plus Promise and eradicate Polio!

Books must be purchased directly through Andrea or her website, www.avaantibody.com.

She welcomes your participation in vaccine education and can be reached via email at andrea.alemanni@gmail.com for questions or book purchase.
Please feel free to call or email at any time!
